Position Summary:
Perform laundry duties in order to maintain a clean and safe environment for the staff and residents.
Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED (General Education Development) preferred.
Experience with seniors preferred.
Experience with laundry preferred.
Essential Functions:
Washing, drying, folding of linens, towels, etc. Distributing the linens to appropriate locations. Washing, drying, folding of resident's personal belongings. Returning the resident’s personal belongings to the proper resident. Inspect linens and towels for needed repairs. Implement procedures to reduce the loss of resident personal belongings. Other job duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
Be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Being able to stand, sit and walk for extended period of time.
